If you already own a business or are just opening your doors, you must learn the importance of business signage. The signs you use for your business are just as important as your reputation. From the very first sign outside with the name of your store to the inside signs announcing products or services that are on sale, business signage is a representation of your business.

If a potential customer sees your sign above the door faded, smeared, and looking as if it has been through a tornado or two, they may think twice before entering your store. The outside of your store, windows, doors, and of course, signs will reflect what customers think of your products or services. If the outside looks drab and unprofessional, they will get the idea that your products or services are inadequate or outdated.

Not only do you want to keep your signs readable, but you also need your signs to be sleek and modern. Business Signage is, in most cases, the very first thing potential customers see and you want their first impression to be a good one. Just as as, when putting your business online, you want your logo to speak for itself on your website, the same goes for the signs you choose to represent your business; whether we are talking about a huge billboard on the interstate or the small curb sign outside your door announcing a sale. You want your business signage to be memorable, attractive, and attention getting.

Remember, business signage does not have to be just metal signs or large neon signs. Today you can utilize all kinds of modern day technologies and inventions such as plastic curb signs that do not rust, with an area to interchange posters as needed no less, to large weatherproof digital print banners.

You may decide that, instead of a large outdoor sign for your beginning business signage, you want to use instead vinyl lettering and digital printed signs at the front door to invite customers in to browse. No matter what signs you wish to start with, the idea is to ensure that you choose signs that will be easy to read, that you place them in a location where they can be seen, and they are modern and attractive. Start your business signage off on the right foot by learning about the different signs and banners available that will fit with your business.

Outdoor Signs Are The New Curb Appeal

Real estate agents know the importance of curb appeal and how it can help you sell during this tough economy. Today, you can take advantage of outdoor signs to add to your property’s curb appeal. You have to become creative if you wish to sell houses, and those in the real estate business should see just how much fun they can have using outdoor signs when they have an open house.

The idea is to draw attention to the sign, which will then draw attention to your open house. I know you have seen balloons tied on cars at dealerships – the reason is to draw your attention. The same goes for using outdoor signs for real estate open houses. Below are some examples of signs that real estate agents or homeowners can use to announce their property for sale along with other information.

The SimpoII Quick Change A Frame is one of many great outdoor signs to use for announcing an open house. This sign is durable and lightweight so you can throw it in the back seat and have it ready at a moment’s notice. The sign is double sided and perfect for setting up on the curb. It is made of all plastic so it will not rust, lose color, or have splinters. Graphic options you can choose with this great fold up curb sign include vinyl cut lettering mounted to corrugated plastic, vinyl cut lettering mounted to .040 styrene, digital prints on corrugated plastic, or digital prints on adhesive vinyl with laminate mounted to .040 styrene. The size allotted for your message is 22”W by 28”H.

Another of the great outdoor signs for real estate agents is the Signicade Plastic A Frame. This outdoor sign is a bit larger than the one above offering a graphic size of 36”W by 24”H. The sign is weather resistant and offers a plastic construction with a handle for ease of use. It is lightweight, durable, easy to use, and affordable. Being double sided, it can be placed in the driveway or on the side of the street to grab the attention of potential homebuyers.

You can use outdoor signs with vinyl lettering to announce the hours of an open house or find other innovative ways to grab attention. Use bright RED lettering and place the words, “Hey, look here. I am a three bedroom house for sale.” This would certainly get some attention and, at the same time, it will be fun creating new sayings for each open house.
